Why Has Cloakzy Left FaZe Clan? Latest Details Revealed
The incredibly popular e-sports organisation, FaZe, has just lost one of it’s biggest members, Cloakzy.
FaZe is one of the biggest and most popular e-sports organisations on the planet right now, but their team just got a little bit lighter with the departure of well know Fortnite and Call of Duty player Cloakzy. But what led to the two deciding to go separate ways after all these years? We’ve put together everything you need to know about the big news.

Who Is Cloakzy?
Dennis Lepore, better known as Cloakzy, is a professional e-sports star well known for his success in the Battle Royale game Fortnite. In more recent times, Cloakzy has departed from Fortnite and began playing Call of Duty: Warzone.
He is also a content creator and has over 1 million subscribers on his YouTube channel. His YouTube channel mainly consists of Warzone content where he plays with other popular content creators such as TimTheTatman and NICKMERCS.
Why Did He Leave FaZe Clan?
It’s reported that Cloakzy and FaZe have been in a contract dispute for quite some time now, which led to the decision for the two to ultimately part ways. The dispute has been going on since 2019, and is incredibly similar to the contract dispute that occurred between Fortnite star Tfue and FaZe.
So, it seems as though the reason for Cloakzy leaving Faze comes from a contract dispute that ultimately couldn’t be solved.
What’s Next?
As of writing, FaZe clan hasn’t made an official comment on the split from Cloakzy.
There is a lot of speculation around where Cloakzy could hed to next now that he’s a free agent. It definitely won’t take long before another big organisation scoops Cloakzy up, as he’s one of the biggest stars in the e-sports scene.
As for FaZe clan, this is the second time they’ve been accused of having alleged “illegal contract” issues, so it doesn’t look good for the org. However, much like the Tfue dispute, we don’t know the facts and details of the contract.
