Who Will Gaspard Ulliel Star As In Moon Knight On Disney+?

Gaspard Ulliel, star of Hannibal Rising and the upcoming Moon Knight series, tragically lost his life on January 18th, aged 37.

Marvel Studio’s upcoming Disney+ show, Moon Knight, will be one of Gaspard Ulliel’s final performances and will premiere in just a couple of months. He will star alongside the likes of Oscar Isaac, Ethan Hawke, May Calamawy and more in the story of a masked vigilante suffering from a dissociative identity disorder.

Who Is Gaspard Ulliel?

Gaspard Ulliel was a French actor best known for his work as a young Hannibal Lecter in 2007’s Hannibal Rising, 2016’s It’s Only The End of the World, and many more. The award-winning actor was incredibly well-known in France and had also made a name for himself in the US too.

Sadly, on January 18th 2022, Ulliel lost his life in a tragic ski accident in the Alps at just 37 years old. Our heartfelt condolences go out to his friends and family.

Who Will Gaspard Ulliel Star As In Moon Knight?

As mentioned previously, Moon Knight will be one of Gaspard Ulliel’s final performances as the star had completed shooting the first season before his untimely death.

However, many fans may have been unaware of Ulliel’s role in the upcoming Marvel show. Alongside Oscar Isaac as Marc Spector/Moon Knight, Gaspard Ulliel will star as Anton Mogart/Midnight Man.

In the Marvel comics, Midnight Man is a thief and collector who comes head to head with Moon Knight after attempting to steal a rare painting from the Ramadan Art Gallery. Midnight Man is often regarded as major enemy to Moon Knight, so fans can expect to see the two face off when the show hits Disney+ on March 30th.
