When is Coco Gauff's next match at Wimbledon 2024? Time, TV schedule for second round
Coco Gauff has her eyes set on another major championship, this time on the grass courts of Wimbledon.
The Delray Beach native rose to No. 2, her highest ever spot in the WTA world rankings, after making the semifinals at the French Open in June. It marked Gauff's third straight berth in a grand slam semifinal, a streak that began with her first major title at the 2023 U.S. Open. After her Wimbledon run ends, the 20-year-old star will turn her attention to Paris, where she will make her debut in the Olympics with Team USA.
Gauff opened with a 6-1, 6-2 win over fellow American Caroline Dolehide, a welcome relief after she was bounced in the first round last year. Next up is Anca Todoni, a 19-year-old from Romania who defeated Olga Danilovic of Serbia in the first round. Todoni is the 142nd ranked player in the world.
