After being around for four years, Fortnite‘s Battle Royale mode has evolved into quite the competitive game. However, to ensure that the competitive players don’t ruin the fun of the more casual gamer, we have Arenas mode.
As part of the popular mode, players are able to receive ‘Hype Points’. These points are often reset each season, but the date can often be incredibly sporadic. This appears to be the case yet again with Chapter 2 Season 8, as fans are left wondering when the Arena Points plan to reset in the latest Fortnite Season.
Thankfully, the date of when the Arena Points plan to reset in Fortnite Chapter 2: Season 8 has been revealed, so here’s what we know.

What Are Arena Points?
Arena Points, also known as Hype Points, are earned exclusively in the competitive Fortnite mode known as Arenas.
There is a detailed system in place on how players earn Hype Points in Arenas mode, and these points can then be used to let players compete in Cash Cups or other tournaments.
Arenas was introduced to Fortnite back in Chapter 1: Season 7 and has become a popular mode for competitive players. There are also multiple items and weapons not available in Arenas mode, mainly to keep things balanced and on a fair playing ground for competitive players.

When Do Fortnite Arena Points Reset In Chapter 2: Season 8?
Although the date has yet to be made official by Epic Games, a reliable Fortnite leaker and data miner known as iFireMonkey has revealed that Hype Points are expected to reset on Tuesday, September 28th, 2021.
This lines up with the expected release date of the next Fortnite patch, which will be v18.10 and the first update of Season 8. That also means that players now have less than a week until points are reset.
However, it’s important to take this information with a grain of salt as it is not yet official. As soon as Epic Games gives an update on Hype Points being reset, we will update this article.
Arena Hype will carry over from Season 7 and will reset on September 28.
