Fans will get the taste of a staggering experience with musical delight. To begin with, popular country singer Reba McEntire, who has Read My Mind and Whoever’s in New England, to her sole credit, will perform the national anthem of the United States of America. Stage actor Daniel Durant will accompany McEntire to perform the anthem in American Sign Language (ASL).

28-year-old Sunflower and Circles rapper Austin Richard Post, popularly known as Post Malone, will perform the iconic song America the Beautiful. The 39-year-old Stand Up for Something and The Light That Never Fails R&B singer Andra Day will perform Michael Cooper’s 2001 song Lift Every Voice. Anjel Piñero will join Malone and Day to perform both songs in ASL.

However, the main event, the Apple Music Super Bowl LVIII Halftime Show, will feature R&B and pop singer Usher for the first time headlining the event.

Usher Will Not Get Paid For His Super Bowl Performance, Here’s Why

The highly anticipated Usher’s Super Bowl LVIII half-time performance in Las Vegas will not follow his similar paycheck culture. Usually, the R&B star gets around $1 million to $1.5 million to perform at a corporate affair. However, he will not get to increase his net worth with his 15-minute halftime performance. Fans may wonder why.

NFL doesn’t pay their traditional fee to the artists as per the policy but covers all expenses associated with the halftime show. Stating the reason, NFL spokesperson Joanna Hunter previously spoke with Forbes, “We do not pay the artists. We cover expenses and production costs.”

It’s not a big deal for Usher or any other singers who have previously performed at the mega event. Super Bowl performances hit high roads, increasing the sales of the albums or raising the number on streaming platforms. Usher’s latest and 9th album Coming Home was released on 9th February under the banner of Mega and Gamma.

Also, the R&B heartthrob has announced his tour Past, Present, Future soon coming to North America. His performance in the mega event may hit big reflecting on the sale of the album and ticket sales of his grand tour.
