Storms are possible through Wednesday evening.

INDIANAPOLIS — It will be a very muggy 24 hours with a few showers and storms. Some storms may contain heavy rain, small hail and gusty winds.

The threat of severe weather stays west tonight and includes the eastern part of the state on Wednesday. Highs on Wednesday will be in the middle 80s.

Forecast highs drop back into the middle 70s for Thursday through Saturday. The muggy meter drops too. Expect a mix of sun and clouds during this stretch.

As we look ahead to the weekend, we have sunshine and middle 70s on Saturday and near 80 degrees on Sunday.
