Long gone are the days when Slazenger were a company worth taking seriously for golf clubs.

The ones in question seem very superficial & fady.

A set full of hybrids, hmm. Well, there are plenty of decent quality irons & sets for not much more than the JJB special of £179 I noticed in an advert for these ones.

intherough, Sounds to me as if your dad could do with some irons with a nice deep cavity, the weight in the heads set low down. The hybrid solution can get MOI set low, but never really been one to be easily swayed by hybrid suposed technology. Something like a set of Ping G10 irons are the sort of thing to start looking at. Now although I'm not really a fan if offset heads, as I consider them simply as a sticking plaster over swing faults, but for someone not troubled by this, then by all means it could be a solution. But please don't be temped by Fast irons.
