Sometimes, giving your knowledge and advice is just as valuable as gifting other’s material possessions. Intangible gifts can be just as important.

Meanwhile, if you feel inclined to make a loan, make sure that you are giving or receiving this favor based on trust and mutual respect, not out of sympathy. Loans are only a short-term fix, so you need to think more broadly about how to help those around you. And if you happen to be the beggar receiving this short term aid, the Six of Pentacles asks that you funnel your energy into standing back up on your own two feet so you can one day return the kindness.
