The 'new' AG experience is pretty good. It's a 7-step fitting process, I was one of the lucky ones from the forum to go to London to have one at the new Monument store last week.

The fitter who was there was great. His name was John, and he is actually based at American Golf Northolt on the A40. The big benefit there is it has a brand new driving range, so you can see the ball flight!!

With his 7 step fitting and a real driving range, and it being free... might be worth a look. Depending on how easy it is for you to get to the A40 at Northolt. I'm based in Woking and it takes 35 mins on a Saturday round the M25.

After my Monument fitting, I popped there on the weekend to look at irons. After a few hits with the new Mizzy shaft fitting tool as well as all the results form the virtual bays, he basically told me a slight change in shaft is all I need, and really changing clubs isn't worthwhile unless I want to spend some £500+ for newer technology. Which was most refreshing, considering I had a voucher and some money to spend.

Most people think AG just want your cash... whereas John from AG Northolt wasn't interested in the money, he was interested in my game!
