Shock as Winners Chapel pastor cancels wedding after the couple came to venue 35 mins late

Wedding attendees at an Uyo branch of the Living Faith Church, popularly known as Winners Chapel were left in shock as the church refused to go on with a wedding after the couple arrived late.

Nobelie reports that the couple arrived at the church building 35mins later than planned. While proceedings were scheduled for 9 am, the couple reportedly arrived at 9.35 am.

Unimpressed with the decision of the church, attendees rallied around the couple to take memorable pictures outside the church hall.

The story of the yet-to-be-identified couple has drawn hundreds of reactions following a post by Instablog9ja.

These Pastors do too much

While some users disagree with the church rule, others believe the couple should have known better and followed the rules to the later.

While @feyisayorichards believes “These pastors always doing too much”, @_storpz states “The fact that nobody is addressing the late-coming in these comments tells you everything you need to know about Nigerians, and why things might never get better.

A user with the handle, @fosilenyah offered a bit of advice to the couple. The user said, “If you don already run registry, Enter reception, eat merry, carry your wife go house and enjoy your marriage.”

Meanwhile celebrity Chef, Uriel Uputa has been stunned after an unnamed man who has been on her case suddenly posted his wedding anniversary.
