Selena Gomez Just Got Adorably Flustered Over Call From ‘Cute Boy’

Selena Gomez just took a break from cooking in her enormous kitchen to answer a call from a “cute boy.”

During a recent episode of the HBO Max series Selena + Chef, which aired on August 20, Gomez got adorably distracted while cooking some Hawaiian malasadas with chef Roy Choi and her grandmother Debbie Jean Gibson. The 28-year-old pop star was in the thick of it when she got a call she just couldn't ignore. 

“Hey, I have to call you back. I'm cooking," she told the mystery caller before apologizing to Choi for the interruption. “Cute boy,” she told the chef with a little laugh.

Despite her hang-up, Gomez was visibly flustered for a bit after the brief interaction. When Choi said she could have taken the call, Gomez jokingly shushed her mentor before attempting to get back in the zone. “Uh, who—what am I doing?” she asked. “I just got, like...”

“Distracted,” her grandma quipped. 

“I gotta go,” Gomez joked with a nervous laugh. “What do I do?!”

I'm so sorry, but there is no word on who this “cute boy” could possibly be—which, of course, is driving fans crazy. “Y'all what cute boy is Selene [sic] talking about!?” one Twitter user wrote in all caps. “This is not a drill Miss Selena Gomez might have boo thang!!!!!!!”
