‘Salt’: Nigerian wife recounts how she stopped woman from stealing her husband

Abigail, a Nigerian lady, shared a humorous story on Twitter about how she dealt with another woman who frequently brought meals for her husband at odd hours.

Instead of confronting the other lady aggressively, Abigail chose to handle the situation lightheartedly. When the lady came by with food again, Abigail accepted it with a smile and told her to “be careful with the salt”.

The humorous approach seemed to work, as the lady stopped delivering meals to her partner afterwards. Abigail playfully declared herself the winner with a scorecard of “Abigail: 1, Crazy Thief: 0.”

“Before I married, there was this lady who would bring my husband food at strange hours. When she came knocking one day, I answered her. I smiled and told her that I enjoyed her dinners but that she should be careful with the salt. We hadn’t seen her since that day. Crazy Thief: 0, Abigail: 1”
