The sequel to Paradox Interactive's legendary city-builder Cities: Skylines is ready to be released soon, but the developer has already warned PC players that they should not expect a polished launch, as the game will have some technical issues and performance hiccups.

While the issues are promised to be fixed with post-launch updates, some of the reviews already seem dissatisfied with the technical problems despite the fact that the core game shows significant improvements over the original version.

Cities Skylines 2: Release Date And Time

Although Cities: Skylines 2 has been confirmed for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S, the game will only be released on PC for now with console versions coming sometime in the future. PC players will receive access to Cities: Skylines 2 on October 24 at 9AM ET / 12PM ET / 5PM BST / 6PM CEST. There will be no early access to Cities: Skylines 2 even if you purchase the higher-tier version or pre-order it.
