Reddit Servers Down Today & CDN Unable To Reach Explained (April 11th)

A number of users have been reporting that they are not able to access Reddit today, as they are facing an issue that states “Our CDN was unable to reach our servers.” It goes on to say that users should check Reddit Status for more information, but unfortunately, there is nothing on the Reddit status. It seems like Reddit is having issues with its servers, and it should be resolved pretty quickly. An update from the team is awaited. We will be adding more details once the team shares more information about the outage.

This is the second time in less than a week that we are seeing an outage, so users will be quite disappointed that they are not able to use their favorite platform. In fact, the ability to start new chats has been disabled for around 4 days now. This is quite frustrating, considering the fact that direct messaging is one of the most important aspects of the community. Users were eagerly waiting for that issue to be fixed, and then another one has surfaced today when they are not able to access Reddit at all. It remains to be seen how long it takes for the issue to be resolved, but it should happen pretty soon.
