Pokemon Unite - All Characters, Roles and Their Stats
Pokemon Unite, The Pokemon Company’s answer to League of Legends, is just around the corner.
Given a release window of “July” on the Nintendo Switch, players are eagerly anticipating the free-to-play title.
Ahead of release, many are looking to get ahead of the competition, and are already building their hypothetical teams.
So, to help with that, we’ve gathered all of the Pokemon available in Unite at launch and have included their stats and roles they’ll play in the game.
Attackers
Below, you will find all of the designated attackers in Pokemon Unite. An attacker is classified as a Pokemon that has “low Endurance and excel at dealing heavy ranged damage to opponents.”
Pikachu
Pikachu is the first Pokemon classed as an attacker. As you’d expect, it attacks with electricity and can occasionally paralyse opponents.

- Endurance – 1.5/5
- Mobility – 2.5/5
- Scoring – 2/5
- Support – 1.5/5
Alolan Ninetails
Alolan Ninetails is well balanced as an attacker. It uses its Ice-type moves to freeze the opposition.
- Offence – 4/5
- Endurance – 1.5/5
- Mobility – 1.5/5

- Mobility – 3/5
- Scoring – 3/5
- Support – 0.5/5
Alolan Ninetales is a chilly Ranged Attacker with the ability to slow or even stop a target’s movement by freezing them entirely.

Speedsters
Speedsters are defined as “Pokémon that have high Mobility and Offense and excel at making quick attacks and scoring points.” It’s going to be vital to get one of these characters in your Pokemon Unite teams!

- Mobility – 5/5
- Scoring – 3.5/5
- Support – 0.5/5

All-Rounders
All-rounders are exactly what you’d expect – they’re highly balanced across both defence and offence. The official Pokemon Unite website defines all characters in this category as “highly tenacious fighters.”

Like Gengar in the speedsters category, Charizard is one of the most popular Pokemon ever. In Unite it’s well-balanced and easy to use, expect to see it a lot.

Garchomp is every bit as dangerous up close as it looks, with the Ability to reflect a portion of melee damage dealt to it and numerous ways to increase its attack speed. #PokemonUNITE

Defenders
Pokemon in this category are designed to be a nuisance. They have “high Endurance and excel at protecting allies and hindering opponents.”
Slowbro
Slowbro is, rather unsurprisingly, not the fastest Pokemon. However, it has a solid Endurance stat which means it won’t be easy to take down.
- Offence – 1.5/5
- Endurance – 4/5
- Mobility – 1.5/5
- Scoring – 1.5/5
- Support – 4/5
Snorlax
Snorlax is a beast. It has better Endurance and Mobility than Slowbro and, as far as all of the Defenders so far, is likely to be the most popular choice.
- Offence – 1.5/5
- Endurance – 5/5
- Mobility – 2/5
- Scoring – 1.5/5
- Support – 2.5/5
Crustle
Crustle has a very basic description on the official site and of all characters in Pokemon Unite, is a more unusual pick.
- Offence – 1.5/5

With a high Endurance stat, Crustle makes for an ideal Defender!

- Offence – 1/5
- Endurance – 2.5/5
- Mobility – 2.5/5
- Scoring – 2/5
- Support – 4.5/5
Mr. Mime
Another Pokemon from the original games, Mr. Mime can stop opponents in their tracks using its “tricky moves.”
