City sit top of the table after six games with 18 points to their name as they eye a fourth consecutive league title.
However, Guardiola will not oversee their latest match from the dugout as a result of a touchline ban.
The Spaniard was given his third yellow card of the season on Wednesday night in their Carabao Cup defeat at Newcastle.
He let his frustrations with the loss boil over in the remaining minutes of the match and went into the referee's book.

Speaking after the game about his booking, Guardiola said: "I don’t know how many fouls they did, how many fouls we had and the number of yellow cards.
"But it is what it is, sometimes the emotions are there. Respect for the referees and their job. A well-deserved yellow card."
Despite him being missing from the touchline, he is expected to watch on from the directors' box.
The yellow card threshold was reduced from four to three this season in an attempt to reduce the amount of dissent from the dugout.

City will be raring to bounce back from their defeat at Newcastle with a win over Wolves.
Gary O'Neil's side sit 16th in the table and have won just once this season, with a tough test on the cards on home soil.
