Palworld’s 69th Pal Is an X-Rated Night-Arriving Predator You’ll Be Best off Avoiding

Palworld isn’t just a blatant copy of another popular franchise with fascinating creatures. Considering the guns, motives, and creativity involved, it’s clearly something more. And this is quite evident from some of the bios you’ll be reading on certain Pals in the game. They might have more than battle on their minds.

The 69th Pal in the game is clearly something the developers had a lot of fun with. The Pal’s called Lovander, and while the name is suggestive enough, the story behind it is utterly fun and involves the developers’ juicy sense of humor.

Meet Lovander, the Hopeless Romantic in Palworld

Be careful; you might just fall for some of the Pal's irresistible charm.

In your initial encounter with the game, you’ll quickly come across a device that lets you store data about Pals you cross paths with in the world. Ranging from cuddly creatures to straight-up devastating beings, you’ll find all sorts of Pals in the game. One of these entries includes the 69th Pal, Lovander.

This Pal’s bio is informative, sure. But here’s the part of the bio that is the cause of a giggle:

Seeking a night of love, it is always chasing someone around. At first it only showed interest in other Pals, but in recent years even humans have become the target of it’s debauchery.

Ahem. It seems like Lovander believes in love and lust rather than guns and glory, which makes for an intriguing bio in Palworld. Originally, the Pal was numbered 49, but the community had a comment or two about it, and the developers approved.

So, here we are. A Pal numbered 69 with a thing or two for arousal. You might as well throw in some moves in the game that let the player flirt or build an intimate relationship with others. Maybe the developers will read this and get an idea. Who knows.

The Little Quirks That Keep Palworld Unique

Despite the similarities, the game can be an enjoyable experience, depending on how you choose to play.

Ever since its launch, Palworld has gained more than 80k reviews on Steam, making it one of the quickest and positively reviewed games to come out in recent times. However, despite its massive success, the game has been compared to Pokémon. From haters to fans being worried about Nintendo’s involvement, there have been multiple debates about the game’s originality over the internet.

However, despite all the comparisons, each Pal contributes to the world of Palworld in their own charming ways. Some you can assign as defensive soldiers in battles, and others you can ask to accompany you to work. Others you can just have fun with and watch the consequences of your actions.

Beyond catching Pals and building a strong base, the open-world nature of Palworld shows a lot of promise for potential things to do. Especially when the modding community is involved and the community has crazy ideas all over the place. Well, anything except turning the game into a proper Pokémon experience.

Between all the creative ways of enjoying the game and figuring out what to do next, Palworld has been an enjoyable experience for most players. The reviews and downloads keep racking up, and the game is showing no signs of slowing down anytime soon. If you’ve played the game, who has been your favorite Pal so far?
