‘My doctor has advised I slow down’: Ayra Starr placed on bed rest, misses US show

Famous Nigerian singer, Oyinkansola Sarah Aderibigbe, also known as Ayra Starr, has informed fans that she has been placed on bed rest as a result of health challenges.

The Rush singer who was to perform at the Industry Night Show in Houston, USA  on April 30, 2023, had to miss the show because of her health.

She released a statement on her Instastory, explaining and apologising to her fans for missing the show. While expressing her disappointment, she noted that her doctor advised her to ‘slow down’ and take bed rest. She urged everyone to pray for her and wish her a quick recovery. She stated that she was sorry she could not make it and promised to make it up to her fans in a ‘special way’.

“So sorry I couldn’t meet every one of you as planned. I’m also sorry you feel let down but I promise to be back in a special way for you when we’ll have a magical time.
