Mindy Kaling Is Our Glamour Style Icon of the Week (and Idol in General...)

Kelly Kapoor and Ryan Howard Mindy (in Lela Rose) and friend/colleague B.J. Novak hit the punk-themed Met Gala this year.

Along with loving how funny, talented, and straightforward Mindy Kaling is, I'm also super into how she's excited to try up-and-coming, buzzy designer pieces, like this sky blue Jonathan Saunders dress.

And last, but not least, Mindy went edgy for the recent Emmy Awards in a bejeweled, cutout plum gown by Edition by Georges Chakra. (And hopefully she had a better experience in that dress than she did at the 2010 Emmys.)
