Meet 11-year-old author who creates, produces TV show about smart kids of colour

Nicholas Buamah, an 11-year-old genius and author has created a television program featuring intelligent children of colour.

Nicholas started writing his family-friendly sitcom, Nick’s House, with the help of his mother Danielle, who also assisted him in hiring a team of professional screenplay writers, producers, and a director.

In the show, Nick’s House, a 10-year-old boy with financial acumen operates a successful enterprise with his pals out of his parent’s house.

The show’s creator, executive producer, and star role have all been assumed by Nicholas himself.

He noted that he is extremely pleased with how the production as a whole came out, but he must give the credit to the group of experts who assisted him in producing such a classic presentation.

Nick’s House’s pilot episode was directed by Hollywood producer, LaMont Ferrell. Tyler Perry’s House of Payne, Moesha, The Office, and other iconic programs produced by Ferrell are well known.

In addition to creating television programs, Nicholas is a published author of three books and the founder of Books Without Borders, Inc.

The Georgia city of Stonecrest’s mayor, Jazzmin Cobble, declared July 21, 2022, to be Nicholas Buamah Day last year and gave the budding tycoon a proclamation to that effect.

To receive the Nina Simone Artistic Achievement Award in Writing, Producing, and Philanthropy at the Young, Gifted, & Black (YGB) Entrepreneurship Awards in February, Nicholas will fly to New York.

Nicholas wants his show to air on as many networks as possible, including Nickelodeon, Disney, Netflix, Hulu, and BET. Now that pilot season has begun, Nicholas claims to be very upbeat about the future of Nick’s House.
