Marvel May Have Given Away Why the Time Stone is Green in Color
The Infinity Saga brought to us the six Infinity Stones- Space, Reality, Power, Mind, Soul, and Time stone. Each stone gives the wearer control over that particular aspect of the universe. And when combined, all six stones coming together make their weilder invincible, so to say.
Each stone is also represented by a color. Blue for the Space stone, Red for Reality, Purple for Power, Yellow for the Mind stone, Orange for Soul, and Green for the Time stone. As The Collector once explained, the six stones existed before the creation of the universe as six singularities. When the Big Bang happened, they got separated into the six Infinity Stones.

Fan Theory Speculates Why Time Stone is Green in Color
A recent fan theory suggests that the Time Stone – one of the most powerful Infinity Stones in the universe – has an intricate connection to one of the most beloved characters from the MCU. It is none other than Loki, whose signature color is green, that gives the Time Stone its green color.
As we know, the TVA exists outside of time – having no beginning or end. Thus, the possibility that Tom Hiddleston‘s Loki, who is now, as we know after the end of Loki Season 2, Yggdrasill or the world tree, can be the source of the Time Stone. If we go by continuity theory, then Loki was always supposed to save the universe by becoming one with the Tree of Life. So it is a possibility that given it happens outside of Time, the Time Stone comes from him after the events of Loki season 2 finale happens.

Yggdrasill’s Connection to The Time Stone
The tree of life connects the nine realms of the universe and is an energy field that also works as a passageway from one realm to another. And now that we know Loki is himself the Tree of Life, thus also the Keeper of Time, it makes sense to think that the Infinity Stone is an essence of the God of Stories himself.
Loki watches over the multiverse, keeping all the different timelines intact and in their path. For a being like that to have a connection with the Time Stone is not far fetched. But it’s all still theories, and we can never say for sure if Loki is the reason the Time Stone is green or not. But to be fair, this theory does sound the most promising.
