Recap of the Previous Chapter
Before that, on Mairimashita! In Iruma-Kun, the demonic antagonist Narnia attacks Iruma and tells him he despises him and his human-like beliefs of peace and unity. Even though other demons stepped in to scold Narnia for attacking Iruma, Iruma was still left feeling quite disturbed by the whole ordeal. Iruma’s eternally positive personality finally caught up with him and cost him his life.
Concerned about a visibly shaken Iruma, Azu-kun and the others flock to him with water and comfort, but he sends them away to network with the other Demons. At Iruma’s urging, everyone goes, and he is left to reflect in alone. Iruma is looking very depressed and distressed, so a familiar demon approaches him and asks whether he was picked on.
Iruma explains to her that despite the fact that nobody teased him, he is still hurt since someone told him they despised him. If Iruma thinks that everyone in Netherworld gets along with each other, the Demon warns him that he’s a fool. She adds that this is to be expected given that violence reigns supreme in Netherworld. The demon told Iruma he should be himself and not try to change.
After hearing those remarks, Iruma’s excitement returned, and he realized that the Demon must seem quite familiar to Bachiko sensei. Since Paimon despises Bachiko and has been seen in the manga before, he may be the Demon. As they wrap up their conversation, the thirteen thrones gather in the hall, where the Demon soon joins them. The new thirteen crowns will be announced now, the announcer tells the crowd.
