Madison Wisconsin "Mad City Model Railroad Show" - Model Railroader Magazine

 I've been to the show 6-8 times and this will be the fourth time I've been there all weekend with the MR club I'm a member of displaying our layout at the show. I only live about an hour away, but I definitely consider it worth going to from even further than that. There is a good selection of dealers with a decent variety of stuff for sale, and you can usually find at least a few good deals. There are also a number of good layouts to see, just to look at or to look for inspiration. I agree with Joel, I consider it to be about equal to the Trainfest show, though in size the Mad City show is slightly smaller.
