The Louisiana Legends Festival is held in historical, downtown Homer, LA, just a short drive from Bossier/Shreveport. 

Our first year was visited by 1200 people. Last year, we welcomed over 3000 visitors! The date this year is October 21, 2023.

 Our festival honors a living Louisiana native that has given of their time and talents to make Louisiana and her citizens great. This is a one day, free-admission, family-oriented festival. 

We have two stages that will present musical acts all day. In additional, we have a huge car show, numerous family activities, an art contest, a farmers market, and craft vendors. 

Instead of food trucks, we have nonprofit groups offering delicious items for $5 per serving. 

Please join us as we honor Coach “Red” Franklin and spend the day enjoying family fun.
