Lanka Premier League Winners List, Runner-Ups, And Prize Money Details
Winners of the Lanka Premier League: The Sri Lanka Cricket Board started the LPL, or Lanka Head Association, in 2020. The two LPL matches that have been played thus far, in 2020 and 2021, saw Jaffna Lords defeat Galle Combatants to win both season championships.
The third season of the competition was scheduled to start on July 31 and end on August 21, 2022. The Mahinda Rajapaksa International Stadium and R. Premadasa Stadium would host 24 games with five franchises each. Due to Sri Lanka’s economic crisis and political unrest, the LPL 2022 was rescheduled for December, and play will start on December 6.

2022 Lanka Premier League Winners And Runner-Ups
Later in 2020, the winners and losers of the inaugural Lanka Premier League season were revealed. Galle Gladiators were defeated by Jaffna Kings in the finals of the first Lanka Premier League, and they were again defeated by Jaffna Kings in the finals of the second LPL 2021 season.
Even though the third season of the Lanka Premier League won’t start until December 6, 2022, every franchise seems ready for Sri Lanka’s biggest competition.
Lanka Premier League Previous Winners List
The two most successful teams are Jaffna Stallion/Kings and Galle Gladiators. Both teams have reached the finals in both of the seasons, with Jaffna Kings emerging victorious each time.

2022 Lanka Premier League Prize Money Details :
The victors will also earn $100,000 in prize money in addition to the prized trophy. The runners-up will receive 50,000 dollars. There are extra individual prizes given out during the competition. The tournament champion will get $10,000, while the final winner will receive $2500.
A team will receive the Fairplay award, which is worth $2,500 and is given to an LPL newcomer. Bonuses are also distributed throughout the competition. such as the best bowler, best batsman, and spirit of cricket awards. These prizes are distributed at the conclusion of each game.
