Khloé and Tristan Thompson began dating in 2016 and their relationship became a highly publicised one. Although the relationship has produced two children, it has been completely marred by allegations of cheating on Tristan’s side.
When the on-again, off-again couple began their relationship, the NBA star was expecting his first child with Jordan Craig, an Internet influencer. It is not clear whether Khloé and Tristan began dating while he was still with Jordan. What is clear, however, is that their relationship received a lot of backlash from the public, who felt the Keeping Up With The Kardashians star was a boyfriend snatcher.

Khloé and Tristan were an American celebrity on-again, off-again celebrity couple. Khloé, whose full name is Khloé Alexandra Kardashian, was born in Los Angeles, California on June 27, 1984, to Kris (née Houghton), a homemaker, and Robert Kardashian, an attorney. She is an American media personality and socialite. She is part of the famous Kardashian family and starred in their hit show, Keeping Up With The Kardashians, from 2007 till date.
She has also starred in successful spin-off shows such as Kourtney and Khloé Take Miami and Kourtney and Khloé Take The Hamptons. In addition, Khloé has hosted her shows, Kocktails with Khloé and Revenge Body with Khloé Kardashian. She is also involved in the retail and fashion industries with her sisters, Kourtney and Kim Kardashian.
Tristan Thompson is a Canadian-American professional basketball player for the Los Angeles Lakers of the National Basketball Association (NBA). He was born Tristan Trevor James Thompson on March 13, 1991. He also plays for the Canadian national basketball team.

What happened to Khloé and Tristan?
Khloé and Tristan met back in 2016. The reality TV star had just ended her marriage with another basketball star, Lamar Odom, while Tristan was expecting his first child with Jordan Craig. Now, it is not clear if Tristan was still in a relationship with Craig before he started dating Khloé. However, their relationship was controversial from the start as Khloé, in particular, was criticised for “snatching” a pregnant woman’s boyfriend.
At first, things were rosy between Khloé and Tristan. Their relationship was so blissful that they made it public and Tristan was introduced to the rest of the Kardashian family. The couple even planned a family of their own and in December 2017, they announced that they were expecting their first child together.
Then the relationship began to crack when Khloé reportedly saw a leaked video of Thompson at a club with a woman, who he allegedly later took back to his hotel room. Khloé reportedly went “ballistic” and was “devastated” over the news. But she gave birth to their daughter, True Thompson, the following day.
The relationship continued despite the cheating scandal. However, the couple broke up after Tristan was filmed cheating with Kylie Jenner’s best friend, Jordyn Woods. Tristan and Jordyn were spotted out with mutual friends flirting with each other. The basketball star reportedly took her back to his hotel where they reportedly kissed. The cheating allegations even ended the friendship between Jordyn and Kylie as the entire Kardashian and Jenner clan were angry with Tristan.
In July 2020, Khloé and Tristan got back together. A source from People reported that the two were “giving their relationship another try” and that Thompson was “working hard to prove himself and has been a great dad to True”. They planned to have another child. But in December 2021, Tristan was caught in another scandal.
This time it was a paternity test scandal where the athlete was found to have conceived a son with Houston-based personal trainer, Maralee Nichols, while he was still in a relationship with Khloé. This time, Khloé broke off their relationship for good. But it did not stop them from welcoming a second child in July 2022 via surrogate. Khloé explained that she wanted to give daughter True a full biological sibling, despite breaking up with her father.
Tristan has since admitted that he is the father of Maralee’s son, a claim he had previously denied. He has agreed to take full responsibility and apologised to Khloé.
“Khloé, you don’t deserve this,” he wrote on Instagram. “You don’t deserve the heartache and humiliation I have caused you. You don’t deserve the way I have treated you over the years.
“My actions certainly have not lined up with the way I view you. I have the utmost respect and love for you. Regardless of what you may think. Again, I am so incredibly sorry,” Tristan added.
Are Khloé and Tristan still together?
No, Khloé and Tristan are not back together. Khloé did not directly reply to his apology. Instead, she shared a cryptic post on her Instagram handle on December 31, 2022.
The post read: “There’s going to be very painful moments in your life that will change your entire world in a matter of minutes. These moments will change YOU. Let them make you stronger, smarter, and kinder. But don’t you go and become someone that you’re not. Cry. Scream if you have to. Then you straighten out that crown and keep it moving.”
According to Bazaar, Tristan reportedly wants Khloé and has even moved two houses away from her in Hidden Hills, according to the Daily Mail.
“Tristan still loves Khloé and would love to be with her again,” the insider tells Entertainment Tonight (ET). “He’s doing whatever he can to try to prove himself to Khloé and her family.”
However, Khloé is reportedly not interested in restarting a relationship with Tristan due to their previous rocky affair. However, they are co-parenting their children amicably. However, the NBA player is reportedly spending a lot of time at Khloé’s home and she acts like he is her husband, even though they are not in a relationship.
“Khloé says she’s single, but in private, she acts like Tristan is her husband,” another source tells OK!, adding that the two have been “doing everything together”—including breakfasts, lunches, and bedtimes alongside their two kids. “If you go to the house, he’s always around.”
The source added: “They are not together, but they act like a couple, and neither are they free to be with other people. Tristan says the only thing he wants is for them to be together as a family.
“Tristan is desperate for her forgiveness and for her to love him again.”
For now, there is no news of reconciliation happening any time soon between Khloé and Tristan.
