Just call her Mrs. Clause. No, but actually, Kate Middleton's official title is still the Princess of Wales.

On December 23, Middleton shared a series of photos from a surprise tea party with a group of children and the inspiring adults who support their well-being. If her presences wasn't enough of a treat, her cozy ensemble surely channeled the Christmas spirit.

For the visit, the 41-year-old mother of three paired a festive red cardigan with sweet floral details and white buttons with a matching pair of soft red pants. She kept the rest of her look simple with small diamond earrings, a neutral makeup look, and a nude manicure, wearing her long brunette hair down with an immaculate blowout.

“Three inspiring people making a real difference to the lives of young people,” she captioned photos from the tea party, which will be broadcast as part of her annual holiday special, Royal Carols: Together at Christmas. “It was so lovely to join Rico, Arwyen, Jenson, Poppy, Henry and George for a special surprise celebration for the people in their lives who have helped shape them. Russell, Ray and Brenda, it was a pleasure to meet you!”

Kate Middleton's latest Hallmark-inspired ensemble is just the latest in a line of approachable ‘fits, possibly signaling a new direction for the royal family—at least, when it comes to the Prince and Princess of Wales.

Earlier this month, the Wales family bent royal tradition when it came to their family Christmas card, opting for a simple black-and-white photo session with the entire family dressed down in slightly undone button-ups and casual shoes.

For her part, Kate Middleton wore jeans and ballet flats, while Princess Charlotte paired her denim with unlaced sneakers, which also matched Prince Louis' footwear. Meanwhile, Prince George opted for a slightly more elegant shoe like his father, Prince William.
