Some artists subtly retweeted criticisms of the studio’s harsh work environment. The concern is whether the current working conditions are sustainable for the long term.

Following the release of Jujutsu Kaisen episode 17, Kaiji Tang, the English voice actor for Gojo Satoru, has spoken out about the challenging production schedule of Jujutsu Kaisen episodes.

Gojo’s voice actor, Kaiji Tang, tweeted that despite the challenging production schedule, MAPPA animators managed to deliver another masterpiece this week. He expressed the sentiment that he can speak for everyone when he says, “Please, MAPPA, we can wait for greatness. Give these superhuman animators the rest they deserve. Also, give them a raise.”

Many fans think that MAPPA should listen to the concerns raised by animators and industry professionals. They suggest that the studio should take a break, maybe even a year off, to improve the current working conditions that are affecting the overall quality of Jujutsu Kaisen Season 2.
