Jeremy Martinez: Texas man kills wife and daughter, 7, before turning gun on himself in double murder-suicide

SAN ANTONIO, TEXAS: In a case reported from Texas, Jeremy Martinez allegedly shot and killed his wife Shannon Martinez along with their daughter, Bailey Martinez, before turning the gun on himself. The bodies of the three were found by the authorities at their San Antonio apartment. Bexar County Medical Examiner’s Office confirmed Jeremy Martinez carried the attack on his family and then turned the gun on himself, reported KSAT-TV.
On Monday morning, March 20, a relative from the victim’s side requested a to be performed on Martinez's house since they didn’t hear from the victim since Saturday, March 18, police revealed. "Divorce and breakups often have dangerous and deadly outcomes. Was at the scene this morning of a double murder/suicide... heartbreaking talking with the father/grandfather of the victims," said police.

'Motive of murder-suicide still unknown'
"Help is out there when needed. Report DV (domestic violence)!!" tweeted SAPD chief Bill McManus on Monday. The motive of the murder-suicide is still unknown as the police continue to investigate the incident. The records show the first-response team found the trio dead from likely gunshot wounds. They also discovered a gun nearby.
'A mass murder-suicide left five people dead in Florida'
In an unrelated case, the Miami-Dade Police Department reported a mass murder-suicide that left five people dead. As per records, the murder-suicide was reported from Northwest 87 Court in Miami Lakes. "Our officers responded, met the individual, explained what was going on, and as our officers searched on the outer perimeter of the house, they were able to find a window that was unlocked,” said Alvaro Zabaleta, reports .
