Jail-themed distillery, restaurant coming soon to old Boone County Jail

A new distillery is coming to Boone County and will open in the old Boone County Jail in Lebanon.

It's called the Boone County Jail Distillery and will have an attached restaurant called Cell Block 104.

Our newsgathering partners at the Lebanon Reporter say the restaurant will be able to accommodate 200 people. It will include a “selfie room” in the jail’s old solitary confinement cell, and a line-up wall where guests can take pictures.

The restaurant will featured Italian-style cuisine and traditional pub food.

The distillery plans to first offer only vodka and gin.

The distillery is set to open in late July and the restaurant in early August.
