How to clear the quest Reshaping the Enigma in Destiny 2 The Witch Queen
Reshaping the Enigma is a quest whose main objective and hardest task is to find Ascendant Alloys, to upgrade the Enigma with an Enhanced Intrinsic and Enhanced Trait. Players will first need to go speak with Rahool at the Tower, in the Courtyard. Open your map on the Tower and you’ll see the location of Master Rahool displayed under a Quest Symbol. After speaking with Rahool, you’ll learn that Ascendant Alloys can be obtained via two ways.

How to obtain Ascendant Alloys for Reshaping the Enigma
- You can purchase Ascendant Alloys in limited quantities from Banshee-44 and Master Rahool in the Tower.
- You can obtain Ascendant Alloys in weekly campaign missions in the Throne World, and from Wellspring activity in the Throne World.
Once you have the Ascendant Alloys, return to Mars to the Relic in the Enclave. Open the map to teleport there directly, and then interact with the Relic Conduit, and then the Resonance Engine. You’ll be fine by that point just reading the instructions in-game, but we detailed these steps below just in case.
Clearing the final steps of Reshaping The Enigma
- Interact with the Relic Conduit to confirm the next quest step if you haven’t yet.
- Unequip and unlock the Enigma if you haven’t yet or you won’t be able to modify it.
- Interact with the Resonance Engine.
- Pick Reshape in the Resonance Engine menu.
- Pick the green category, then Glaives, and pick the Enigma.
- Pick the Enhanced Intrinsic you want to use.
- Pick the Enhanced Trait you want to add and confirm everything to finish reshaping the Enigma.
- Interact with the Relic Conduit again to confirm the last step and get your rewards.
