Former North Laurel star and Kentucky Wildcat guard Reed Sheppard has signed his rookie contract with the Houston Rockets. Sheppard, the highest pick in this year's draft to sign a contract, will make $20,702,520 in guaranteed money for his first two seasons with the Rockets, per Spotrac. The four-year deal is worth $45,853,025 if Houston picks up the remaining two years of the contract.
