Hole in one Stableford score

You have to admire his honesty in saying he shot 23, glad he could remember. It asks the question though should he of picked up and just put down for a lower score to keep the game going? If not holding anyone up then why not keep goin. Like I say you have to admire his honesty. When I first started playing again I played with a guy/pal from your place in a fourball at Retford. He shot 2 x 13,s on the first two par fives. He then said I can't believe I started with two 8,s. No neither could we.
no one plays with him now.
