Hailey Bieber Uses a Watercolor Blush Technique That Is Perfect for a Natural Glow on Dry Skin

Dry winter skin is a huge problem for many of us right now. Even, we can assume, for stars like Hailey Bieber, even if it doesn’t look like it. It’s such an issue that we don’t really feel like wearing makeup at the moment, because it makes our skin feel tight and uncomfortable.

But now we’ve discovered a blush trick that's perfect for anyone with dry skin or anyone who wants their skin to look extra dewy in winter. None other than Hailey Bieber’s makeup artist is already a big fan of the technique. No wonder she always looks so radiant.

Beauty content creator Tara Sighary, who is known for uncovering the makeup techniques of celeb artists, drew our attention to the watercolor blush technique. And now, thanks to her, we know how artists manage to make the complexions of stars like Bieber, Kim Kardashian, and others look so glowy and dewy without wearing too much makeup.

In the Instagram video, the influencer explains that makeup artist Leah Darcy blends a mixture of cream blush and moisturizer to create a natural look, which Sighary describes as a watercolor technique. We also think that the mix of blush and cream creates a mixed watercolor effect that melts into the skin.

All you need for the look is a creamy blush and a moisturizer. Sighary mixes both textures with a brush on the back of her hand and then applies the mixture along her cheekbones. Finally, she adds a little more blush with her fingers to highlight the color and make the result look even more natural.

The trick behind the technique is that the skin care and color blend into the skin and allow it to shine through beautifully, which is why the finish is so natural. In addition, the nourishing component ensures that the skin looks totally radiant and healthy.
