Guide for Sonic Adventure - Trials & Missions: E-102 Gamma
Similar to other characters, Gamma's B ranks require you to have 50 rings at the end of the stage and you need to beat a certain time for an A rank. Since Gamma's combos grant more time, these are measured in how much time is left instead of how much time you use.
Final Egg
B Rank: As soon as you leave the initial tunnel, jump and look up above the rusty yellow wall to find some ring containers. Target them by jumping around to earn plenty of rings. Make sure you've picked up the other rings lying around, then take a brisk walk down to the end of the path and destroy the Sonic doll with three missiles.
A Rank (2:30 Remaining): This is really easy to do since there are only two real enemies that can hurt you, and they only do so if you bump into them. Just dash to the end and you'll definitely be fine.
Emerald Coast
B Rank: Just take it slow and destroy every enemy before you proceed further so you don't take damage. There are tons of rings around here and you'll definitely be able to reach Froggy without getting hit without too many issues.
A Rank (3:00 Remaining): Simply move all the time and make sure you've targeted and launched at all the enemies at Froggy's location before you run up to touch him. Unfortunately, you'll be cutting it a little close on a good run, so it might take just a few attempts to get this emblem.
Windy Valley
B Rank: Just take your time. Try to not fire too much when near wooden bridges, as you may end up destroying them. When fighting at the end of the stage, just shoot as soon as you're able to target your foe again and you'll be fine.
A Rank (2:30 Remaining): The best way to earn time is to shoot all the segments of those big long flying enemies, which should net you up to 30-65 seconds of bonus time if executed well. Doing this twice will put you in a really good spot and you might even end up with about five minutes left on the clock.
Red Mountain
B Rank: The time can be a little tighter than before, but you'll still be able to get through with no major issues. If you just make sure you're not hit, you can easily end up with over 100 rings without issue.
A Rank (3:00 Remaining): You cannot make as big of a combo in Red Mountain as you could in Windy Valley. This will make it a little difficult getting to the end of the stage in time, especially since the A rank time is pretty unforgiving. Make sure you hit every combo as high as possible; in the room with the 1-Up in a high tunnel, try to hit all the monkeys with the flying robots for a 6x combo.
Hot Shelter
B Rank: Even though there are tons of rings - you may end up with near 300 if you're never hit - it's pretty easy to get ganged up on if you don't fire fast enough. It's still possible to gain 50 rings during and after the descent down a wide column, but you need to be aware of your surroundings to make sure you hit ring capsules and to avoid getting hit. As for the fight against Zeta, circle around counterclockwise and occasionally aim towards the center so you can land some hits. The fight will progressively get easier as Zeta has fewer and fewer cannons to shoot with.
A Rank (2:00 Remaining): As per usual, make the best combos you can and waste as little time as possible. Definitely stop to float in that later descending column so you can make combos off of monkeys before you reach Zeta. You should ideally have 2:40ish on the clock before you reach Zeta so you have some breathing room for that fight.

| 51 | Fairly high up on the front of the ruins. Jump up the front side to get up to it. |
| Card No. | Description |
| 42 | Enter the Egg Carrier Hall via the hexagon lift, then walk towards the three doors next to each other and walk through the door on the right. Proceed to the prison hall and grab the card. It's not in a cell - it's on the other side of the room. |
Mission 07
Lonely Metal Sonic needs a friend... Look carefully.
Go to the jungle area and enter Eggman's base there. Descend to the lower floor and pick up the statue of a man. Bring it to the little circle in front of Metal Sonic's tube on the second floor. If you're not familiar with Sonic characters yet, Metal Sonic is the sleek blue robot; the other is unique to this game but is similar to other robot Sonics from the past.
Mission 21
Protect the Sonic doll from the Spinners surrounding it!
Enter the base right next to this card and go through the door on the second floor with nothing special around it. This'll take you to the Final Egg action stage. Just run to the end and try to destroy all the enemies floating around the Sonic doll without hitting the doll itself. Patiently wait for the Sonic doll to move away from the Spinners so you can target them without facing the doll. It won't take very long until you're able to defeat all of them.
Mission 39
Treasure hunt at the beach! Find all the medallions under a time limit!
Shoot the fence by the hotel pool and enter Emerald Coast. When you get to the blocked-off corkscrew, fire at the button on top of the straw roof hut. This will initiate a 45-second timer that you must collect all five medallions in. Collect the first medallion in the path underneath the roofs. The second is floating in the air; use the spring to get up high, then hover over to it (restart if you miss this medallion). The third and fourth medallions are on the path that lead to Froggy and the last medallion is behind the island Froggy is on; drop down to the shallow shore and collect it to clear the mission.
Mission 42
I can't get into the bathroom. How could I've let something like this happen to me?
Return to the three doors in the Egg Carrier Hall and enter the middle door. Once you gain control of yourself in Hot Shelter, clear the two bathrooms (to your left and right once you're off the lift at the start) to finish the mission. Choose Exit Game on the pause menu to return to the field.
Mission 51
Gunman of the Windy Valley! Destroy all the Spinners under a time limit!
Enter the Windy Valley stage from the Mystic Ruins Station Area. Early in the stage, there's a drop down a circular hole. Shoot a button on the side at the top of the hole, then hover down and shoot all the Spinners within 10 seconds. The last one is at ground level, so don't waste too much time in the air! If you mess up, just exit the stage from the pause menu and try again.
