Of all the realms in God of War Ragnarok, Vanaheim is the richest with quests, collectibles, and lore. There are dozens of areas to explore, each with its own secrets and challenges.

Odin's Ravens is one of the quests you will carry with you throughout the entirety of the game. To complete the quest, you’ll need to kill all 48 ravens. In Vanaheim alone, there are 15 ravens you’ll need to destroy throughout the vast biomes. This guide will walk you through where to find them.
Southern Wilds
There are two main sections to Vanaheim, the areas surrounding Freyr’s Camp, and the areas surrounding The Crater in the north. The first eight ravens you find will be located in the areas surrounding Freyr’s Camp.
The raven located in the Southern Wilds is one of the easiest to find. From the Southern Wilds Mystic Gateway, head down the path and take your first left into the forest. Here you’ll walk under an archway that leads down to a pond. You’ll find the raven circling above the pond.
The Veiled Passage
The next raven is also in the southern part of the map, located in the Veiled Passage. From the boat dock, head left until you see a wooden fence blocking your way. Break the fence to reveal a small room full of explosive poison plants.
Kill all the poison plants, and then make your way up the climbable wall to your left. At the top of the wall, you’ll find some runes. On the far side of the room, you’ll see a clearing with light pouring down from the rock ceiling. The raven is perched on some tree roots above you.

The Goddess Falls
From the dock, head straight until you reach the climbing wall. Go up the wall, and at the top, immediately head right into a room with runes. Head back out of the room and grapple across the gap ahead. Once across the gap, there is a climbing wall on your immediate right. Head up the wall.
At the top, look out into the clearing to your right. The raven will be flying around. Wait for it to get close and then hit it with your Leviathan axe. If you already have the Draupnir Spear and are having trouble hitting it with the axe, use the spear to hit it from a different angle.
Cliffside Ruins
From the dock, navigate to the wooden bridge next to the waterfall above you. Head across the bridge towards the runes on the edge of the cliffs. After grabbing the runes, look over the cliff and out into the river. The raven is sitting on a branch hanging above the water. This raven is a little farther away, so be sure to aim a little higher than usual, and you’ll hit it.
Pilgrims Landing
The raven in Pilgrims Landing is a bit difficult to find since you can only get a clear shot of it from a specific angle. First, dock your boat on the beach and turn around, facing east. Head to the structure seen in the images above. Once you are there, face the Legendary Chest across the gap, and hop over.
After grabbing the Legendary Chest, turn to your left and look through a gap in the wall. Across the river, perched on a branch, you’ll find the next raven.
Freyr’s Camp
Once you are inside the camp, head through the wooden doors on the northern side. Follow the path over the bridge and to your right through the cave. Once out of the cave, continue down the path on the left side until you come across a ledge you can drop off of.
Before you drop down, look out into the trees. The raven is sitting on a branch not too far away. This raven is a bit tougher to see during the day because it is hiding in the leaves. If you are having trouble seeing it, you can always come back at night when it is more visible.
Eastern Barri Woods
For this raven, you must first acquire the Draupnir spear. As you reach the fork in the road (see map location), head right toward the boulder. Destroy the boulder using your Draupnir spear, and head through the opening in the rock.
As you reach the other side, kill the plant across from you using your Leviathan axe. Then turn around and face the opening you just walked through. Above it, the raven is nestled in the hollow of a tree.
Abandoned Village
The final raven surrounding Freyr’s Camp is in the Abandoned Village. When you reach the area where you fought the Einherjar in your mission to rescue Freyr, start by heading to the top of the structure. Once at the top, move towards the south side until you reach the archway (shown above).
Head through the archway and turn right. Follow this path until you reach the end and look up to your left. The raven is sitting inside the tree just across the river.
The Plains (1)
The final seven ravens are located in The Crater area of Vanaheim. The first raven is located on the western side of The Plains near the western altar. Start by facing the altar to orient yourself (see image above). Next, turn around and face the frozen lightning bolt.
As you are facing the lightning bolt, move east towards the crevice (or river if you have already restored the water to The Crater). The raven is located on a rock up to the left of you.
The Plains (2)
The next raven is located in the northwestern part of The Plains. Head to the area shown on the map above, and you’ll find a clearing with a door to your right that has a poison totem on the other side of it.
On the other side of the clearing, opposite the door, you’ll see a cave area with a grappling hook next to it. As you approach the cave, turn and look down. You’ll find the raven located on a ledge below you.
The Plains (3)
The third raven is located near the Plains Mystic Gateway. Start by facing the gateway next to the altar. Turn left and head around the gateway. Continue down the path that opens up to the right.
When you reach the end of the path, turn left and around, facing southeast. Look down over the wall, and you’ll find the raven perched on a rock. Throw your Leviathan axe to destroy it, and then head back towards the altar.
The Plains (4)
To get to the next raven, you’ll need to access the dragon’s lair in the northernmost part of The Plains. There are a couple of ways to get there, the easiest being through the Overgrown Tower Mystic Gateway. You can use the gateway next to the altar to get there. Once you are in the dragon’s lair, turn and face west. Run to the far end of the area and look down into a hole to find the raven.
The Plains (5)
The final raven in The Plains area is in the eastern section, near the first altar you encountered when you first arrived at The Crater. Start by navigating to the Eastern Plains gateway. Once you are there, face the gateway and turn right. Continue forward, past the small pond on your right, and you will see the raven sitting on a rock on the other side of the canyon.
The Jungle
There is only one raven to find in The Jungle. From the southern Jungle Mystic Gateway, hop in the boat and turn right. Follow the wall on your right around, moving east until you see a stone pillar splitting the river. Go through there and continue moving to your left to enter a tunnel.
On the other side of the tunnel, you’ll find a wooden dock. Get off there and head up the overgrown staircase and through the small crack in the wall. On the other side, you’ll be facing the bridge made of vines. Turn left to find the raven perched above on a ledge.
The Sinkholes
The final raven is located in the northernmost section of the Sinkholes area. If this is your first time here, you’ll need to first dock your boat, head through the cave while dodging the dragon’s flames, and may your way up and around to the dragon’s lair.
After defeating the dragon on the top of the platform, head to the southwestern edge and look out across the river. You’ll find the raven sitting on a ledge in the shade.
