“Manhattan Assistant District Attorney Grace Lunden had argued in court for Exum to be held on $10,000 bail or $50,000 bond, saying, ‘this is a violent case.’”

The case came to an end when the prosecutor for the public defender, Brooke Quincy Myers, revealed that the victim did not want to move forward with the case.
