Firefighters return to downtown Indy for annual FDIC conference

INDIANAPOLIS (WTHR) — More than 30,000 firefighters from 53 countries are in Indianapolis this week for the 92nd Fire Department Instructors Conference.

The conference officially begins on Monday.

FDIC will showcase the newest tools in fighting fires and keeping firefighters safe.

Exercises, classes and at least a dozen drills will run until Friday.
