Family Farm Tours in Parrish

Serenity Oaks Homestead is excited to be offering weekly farm tours every Sunday from 3PM to 4:30PM through the end of May.  Escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life during this 1.5 hour guided tour which includes ample time to interact with all our animals and ask questions.  The cost of the tour is $20 per person, but with a purchase of $80 or more, coupon code "FamilyTour2019" can be applied and $30 will be taken off.

Established in 2015 and situated on 6 acres adorn with magnificent oak trees, Serenity Oaks Homestead is proudly owned and solely operated by a local Parrish family.  The farm is home to several pasture raised flocks of ducks, geese and chickens who provide customers with farm fresh eggs. Serenity Oaks is also home to pigs, horses, miniature donkeys and a herd of dairy goats who provide milk for our cheese and soap making.

Enjoy meeting our ever-expanding herd of dairy goats up close and personal and play with the adorable goat kids! We have kids of various ages year-round and they love playing and interacting with guests.  Watch a milking demonstration (or even give it a try yourself) and witness where our milk for cheese and soap making comes from.  

Pet and feed our three Kunekune pigs; Clementine The Duchess of Pork, George Kune and HAMilton and laugh as they comically flop over for belly rubs like your family dog.  

Offer treats to our chickens and even search for and collect eggs while watching the chickens scratch the ground in search of bugs.

Meet Niles and Frasier, our rescued horses, as well as our rescued miniature donkeys. One of the donkeys, Piper, is one of only 9 registered therapy donkeys in the US and is qualified to visit assisted living homes, schools and many other places providing compassion and reassurance to those who need it most.Piper enjoys showing off some of her tricks for treats!

Tours are limited to 10 participants so everyone can enjoy the full, hands-on farm experience.  We offer group tours for schools and scouting groups, as well as private tours, contact us for more information or to schedule.
