Fallout 76 first Atlantic City update arrives in December

Atlantic City was revealed last June during the Xbox and Bethesda Showcase, giving us a glimpse at some of the new adventures we can look forward to taking part in when collecting the Fallout 76 achievements. Due to the amount of content included in the Atlantic City expedition, it will be broken up into two separate updates, starting on December 5 for Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC.

Fallout 76: Atlantic City expedition release date

As revealed during Xbox's appearance at the Tokyo Game Show by Bethesda Games Studios' art director Jonathan Rush, the Atlantic City expedition will arrive in two parts. Both updates will include a host of new content for Fallout 76, including new factions, creatures, locations, missions, rewards, and a casino. Bethesda has been relatively stingy when it comes to revealing information about Atlantic City, but the public test server on Steam will let players begin testing the upcoming content from October 3, so we expect Bethesda to drop a proper update about the content in the coming weeks.

If you've been exploring Pittsburgh via The Pitt expedition on Xbox Series X|S recently, you may have noticed that Bethesda silently rolled out a silent 60fps update a little while back, offering smoother gameplay when making the most of what Appalachia has to offer. If you haven't fired up the game in recent months or have been looking to start playing, the Once in a Blue Moon update that rolled out on June 20 added some exciting encounters with Cryptids, cultists, and many other monsters.

Although we're sure you're busy trying to keep up with the many other games coming to Game Pass each month, Fallout 76 is available via Xbox Game Pass and PC Game Pass, so it's definitely worth checking it out if you're yet to dabble in the post-apocalyptic wasteland.
