Exploring Whether Tanjiro Could Die Or Survive In Demon Slayer

At every point in Demon Slayer, Tanjiro survive the attacks by a whisker. He never steps back while fighting the demons, which raises a very obvious question of whether Tanjiro dies or survives in Demon Slayer. Well, here’s your answer.

Gyutaro and Daki are really creating a mess for everyone. They have given severe damage to all the Demon Slayers, and it seems like our heroes are losing this fight. Tengen’s hand is chopped off, Inosuke is stabbed in the chest, Zenitsu is falling off the roof, and Tanjiro is about to fall beneath the house debris that Daki destroyed.

The main reason why Tanjiro never steps back from risking his life is he doesn’t want to see another Demon Slayers losing their life in front of his eyes. He has yet to overcome Rengoku’s loss, and now a few more are on the verge of getting killed. But right now, there’s hardly anything Tanjiro can do. He doesn’t look like in a condition where he can do something for himself or others.

Tanjiro Stays With Us Until The End

Demon Slayer fans would be delighted to know that Tanjiro survives the ongoing and upcoming fights against Demons.

For now, it seems like the conditions are not in favor of the Demon Slayers. But in the coming episodes, Tanjiro will awaken his Demon Slayer Mark and decapitate Gyutaro’s head. According to the manga, in the Swordsmith Village arc, Tanjiro even defeated an upper rank four demons called Hantengu.

With each fight, Tanjiro polishes his skills even more, and later in the Infinity Castle arc, he gains the level of mastery that matches Giyu Tomioka. A time will come for Tanjiro when he will battle against the king of demons Muzan Kibutsuji himself. Tanjiro almost gets killed while fighting the demon king. But with his unparalleled skills and willpower, he manages to delay Muzan’s escape exposing him to sunlight and ending his reign once and for all.
