Detectives piecing together double shooting in west Charlotte – WSOC TV
CHARLOTTE, N.C. — CMPD detectives are trying to piece together an investigation where two people were shot Tuesday afternoon in west Charlotte.
Officers responded to a shopping center on Beatties Ford Road after someone was reportedly shot.
Chopper 9 flew over several crime scenes, including one in front of a store in the Food Lion shopping center, where one victim was found.
Another shooting victim was found nearby on Maribel Avenue, officials said.
The victims were taken to a hospital but were expected to survive, CMPD said. No arrests have been made.

Channel 9 spoke with Nicole Milford, a teacher who works a few blocks away.
"So, when I was in CVS, I heard a few shots, and then they told me to stay in," she said.
Police sources believe the shooting may have stemmed from a robbery.
