Deputies identify suspects wanted in overnight Granite Falls fire – WSOC TV

GRANITE FALLS, N.C. — Caldwell County deputies said they have identified suspects wanted for an overnight fire in Granite Falls.

Fire crews responded to the fire that destroyed a mobile home Friday morning on Rock Creek Circle.

Channel 9 arrived on the scene as firefighters were still soaking down hot spots.

The fire captain said the fire was so intense it burned through the floor.

Crews had to walk on their ladders to access parts of the burning home.

Officials told Channel 9 that the house had been vacant for about a week.

Deputies said the fire is also connected to a suspicious fire last week that occurred down the street.

Investigators said no one was living at the mobile home and there was no power running to the building.

They said the fire was set in several places and flammable materials were found.

Deputies have not released the names of the suspects and have not made any arrests.
