Celebrity clothing lines: does name-dropping actually hurt sales?
We all have seen the celebrity clothing line boom (see below for just a few). Funnily enough, Jaime Pressly came into our offices the other day and said that often as a celebrity you're not taken seriously as a designer. She even had to change the name of her collection to get her clothes noticed; it's now called J'aime. I really liked the dresses. What do you think? Also, go ahead and ask her anything.
