“Calling the dog sh*thead is wild”: Dwayne Johnson Didn’t Even Leave Cody Rhodes’ Dog Alone During His Heated Promo Before SmackDown
Dwayne Johnson and Cody Rhodes feud seems to be one of the most historic wrestling events. Each day, with each passing hour, the anticipation among fans and spectators keeps building up ever since The Rock challenged the American Nightmare for a tag team match on the opening night of the upcoming WrestleMania 40.
Yet the fans feel Johnson might have taken things too far during the promo while taking digs at his rival. In a nearly 21-minute long video posted on his social media, Johnson not only said some nice words for Rhodes but also called his dog, Pharaoh. He said some pretty things that fans seemed to have a problem with.

The rivalry between Dwayne Johnson and Cody Rhodes is one for the history books, not only for how epic it is but also for how things have been going. After calling Rhodes’ fans Methheads and whatnot, the Rock during a promo posted on his social media also took digs at Rhodes’s beloved dog, Pharaoh.

And yet, in a new post, the Rock again took similar shots at Rhodes’ dog in a heated promo video posted on his Instagram. While the People’s Champion also called out Rhodes and Seth Rollins for calling him full of sh*t, it was the Hollywood actor’s calling the dog out that seemed to offend a lot of fans.
Fans especially seemed offended seeing how the Rhodes family has repeatedly asked the WWE Champ to not bad mouth their dog. Rhodes, too, during SmackDown, stated that the Rock should keep his dog out of their feud (via YouTube), while his wife Brandi responded by sharing a couple of memes on her X account.

With WrestleMania 40 just upon us, things are getting spicier and bitter. After referring to Rhodes’ fans as crybabies, the Rock apparently took his game a bit too far as per the fans when he started mentioning the American Nightmare’s dog and name-calling him.

Even Rhodes’ sister, Teil Rhodes, stated in an X post: Going after a DOG is almost as low as all the bots. And fans, too, had similar reactions to the Rock referring to Pharaoh as a sh*thead.
