Callaway X20 / Tour | Golf Monthly
I had this discussion with Homer last night. I've been trying a few set of "old" Callaway irons with the hope of finding a set suitable for my game.
In essence, there would seem to be 3 main differences.
1) Offset (face angle) is greater on the non-tour
2) size of head....tour is a bit smaller....
3) top line/size of the cavity etc.....
I would presume that the lofts are also different.
If you search for classic club specs on the Global Callaway site, you could look at (compare) X-18s and probably X-20s, although I don't know if these specs are in the classic section yet. I use this web site a great deal to compare the specs with stuff I have used with stuff I might consider buying.
