Recap Of The Previous Chapter
Isagi Yoichi has finally scored his first goal in the Neo Egoist League, giving his team the advantage over Italy Ubers’ defense that appeared impenetrable. Canali, the Ubers’ goal, is shocked to notice Yoichi’s Play style changing so drastically. This came as a huge surprise to the Ubers because their data didn’t even cover an unidentified attack pattern using the left foot to make a direct shot into the goal. We see a flashback to five days ago when Canali questions Yoichi about what he did to improve so much in such a short period of time. Yoichi visits Kunigami in the gym and requests his assistance with his workout. Yoichi expresses his worry about his current playing strategy and how Kunigami must teach him how to become a two-footed shooter because he is only proficient at right-foot shots.
Yoichi’s request is immediately rejected by Kunigami after he becomes disgusted by the sudden request. Yoichi is still adamant that he trains with him at the very least. However, it’s possible Yoichi’s body balance would be off if he tried to train like him, which would hurt his performance. A real footballer, according to Kunigami, never seeks out quick fixes to improve. Yoichi acknowledges his worries and asks to only observe Kunigami’s training session when Chigiri arrives. When Chigiri is asked to leave by Kunigami, he challenges him and says that he has changed to keep an eye on him.
