Ben Sayers or MD's? | Golf Monthly

Of the two choices I'd have said it's a no brainer for me - MD > Ben Sayers every day.

But I'm a Benross boy myself, and have the VTXtreme 17* and 20* hybrids, the newish quad 4H and the VX6 irons 5 - SW.

I've had them nearly 3 years now (apart from the new additions) and, although I'm rubbish, the clubs are great for me to use now, AND they are good enough that they won't need changing even if I eventually start playing consistantly enough to gradually bring my handicap down.

They are great for a high handicapper, but I don't see any reason why a 12 or 13 handicapper would need anything better. (I'm not suggest a single figure, or cat1 player wouldn't need better clubs btw)

Either way, look for the quality of the shafts - that's a fairly good indicator of the overall quality of the components of the club imo.
