Bachelor in Paradise's Shushanna Mkrtychyan Explains the Real Reason She Left the Show

Glamour: Do you regret coming on the show?
Shu: Absolutely not. I think a lot of time people live life and think "I should have done this" or "I should have done that," and there are things you want to do because you want to learn something about yourself. Even for me, there was a two-day thing, and there are no regrets. I’m in Mexico, and it does feel like paradise! My face is glowing, I’m feeling happy!

Glamour: Would you do anything differently?
Shu: Absolutely not. The first day I had so much fun and put myself 100 percent out there. Then the next day I woke up and felt like something was going on with me. I want to be honest, I don’t care. At some point, I stopped caring what people would think or if they were judging me or that I’m running away from something. I think it had something to do with myself. It took me a whole day to decide that the right thing for me to do would be to just leave.

Glamour: From the remaining couples, who do you think has the best chance of making it?
Shu: I was there only for two days, but as far as I could see, I’m really hoping Josh and Amanda will make it. They look cute. Jen, I love her. It was just so weird to see Nick because he’s so calm next to her. They are confident. Both of them. Carly and Evan—I feel like they will be the couple that gets married pretty soon. I felt that way. He’s so supportive; he’s so sweet. He literally takes care of her. I feel like she’s this little princess, and I definitely see them getting married pretty soon.

Glamour: Who was the most obsessed with looking good on this show?
Shu: Maybe it was me! [Laughs] No, I don’t know. Everyone thinks it’s going to be Ashley I., but not really. All the girls were putting so much makeup on, including me. Ashley is absolutely gorgeous without makeup. If she wants to do it, why not? We all want to look fashionable!

Glamour: What’s your one must-have product that you brought here?
Shu: Bronzer! I have to have it. I actually combine two. There’s a matte one with a little sparkle from Sephora, and it smells like chocolate. And one that I have forever is the powder MAC bronzer.
