Aubrey Horner's Cause of Death in Fatal Car Crash
Aubrey Lynn Horner, a 37-year-old resident of Windber, Pennsylvania, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, December 2nd. Horner was an employee at Anthony's Neapolitan Pizza in Windber. She died in a fatal car accident that occurred early Saturday morning.
The Fatal Crash
According to the Pennsylvania State Police, the crash occurred around 9:30 AM on Horn Road in Paint Township. Horner was a backseat passenger in a 2007 Pontiac G7 driven by a 36-year-old man from Windber. The driver and front seat passenger were not wearing seatbelts and were ejected from the vehicle in the crash.
Horner was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver and male passenger were taken to Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center in Johnstown for treatment. No other vehicles were reported to be involved in the incident. The cause of the crash remains under investigation by state police.

Aubrey Lynn Horner was born on June 8, 1986 to parents Lisa and Tom Singer of Windber, Pennsylvania. She attended Windber Area High School, graduating in 2004. Horner later attended Pennsylvania Highlands Community College.
Horner was a loving mother to her daughter Alaina Keim. She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her daughter, mother, sisters, and grandma. Some of her favorite activities included shopping trips, beach vacations, game nights with family, and doting on her cat Lucy.
At the time of her passing, Horner worked at Anthony's Neapolitan Pizza. She previously was employed at Michaels, City Hotel Bar & Grill, and Claire's. Horner was very loved by her two sisters, Hillary and Chelsey Singer.

Aubrey enjoyed spending time with her daughter and family, shopping, Main Moon feasts with Alaina, casino trips with her grandma, mom and sisters, a competitive game of foosball, cheating at Monopoly and Slide against her sisters and cousins, family beach trips growing up, and spending time with her four-legged friend cat, Lucy, whom she adored. She loved being an aunt to Vinny and looked forward to welcoming her second nephew in February. The family finds comfort in knowing that she is at peace and reunited with her beloved great-grandma Beutman and soulmate Bubba (Terry). Family will receive friends 5:00 p.m. to time of Celebration of Life service to begin 7:00 p.m. Friday, December 8th at Meek & Dalla Valle Funeral Home of Windber, Rev. Joe Brown, officiating.
